Interaction Design & User Experience
I Design Ways for People to Interact with the Digital World.
I’m currently the interaction design lead at a small little company, maybe you’ve heard of: Bed Bath & Beyond. Over the course of the last couple of years, I’ve helped establish an in-house User Experience team that has grown to be valued by the various sides of the business, from in-store operations, to mobile, to e-commerce.
Design has been my passion for all my life, from loving art as a kid, to studying architecture in college, to designing digital experiences for internationally known companies. From concepting and wireframing, to the visual design and development of a site, my goal is keeping things simple and beautiful.
Hailing from Wyoming, Indiana, North Carolina, and New Jersey, I’ve lived all over the country. I’ve been to 43 of 50 states, and did an internship in Dublin, Ireland. I love adventure, new things, and challenges. Having gone to school for architecture, I learned early on that the design of things was a lot more my speed than the engineering and math. What I learned from designing physical spaces has translated into designing digital spaces, where I work to simplify how people interact with the online world.
When I’m not working, I enjoy being outdoors with my wife and 6-month old son, hiking, trail running, or enjoying some scenic drives and trails in my Jeep (yes, that’s my Jeep in the photo) with the doors and top off, weather permitting. It gets cold in Jersey.
I’ve Gotten to Work with Some Great Brands.
